Aston Martin GT8 Track meets road

Determinedly aerodynamic, the GT8 is by far the loudest, lightest, most gorgeously functional, 4.7-litre V8 you will drive. Aston Martin’s latest tribute to their previous Le Mans Vantage racers, this car has all the technology and optimisation you could possibly hope for. Boasting incredible power-to-weight ratio, optional aero-pack, the body is mostly carbon fibre including aero-trims. It’s a new era of engineering excellence. The GT8 has been designed to handle daily driving, but if you want to go really fast, the car will truly handle as a road racer. Aston Martin made only 150 units worldwide in 2017, and only 5 dedicated to this sunburnt country, Winguard had the opportunity to work on one of them (#20 of 150).

This V8 has some very impressive performance figures and has been upgraded to produce a raw 440bhp. The GT8 was released with either the 6-speed manual or Sportshift III gearbox but sold out almost immediately when they were announced mid-2016. The dramatic weight saving design shaved off nearly 100 kg from previous Vantage designs and allows this new Aston to literally roar from 0-100km/h in 4.4sec with a top speed of 305km/h.
