G Wagon AMG G63 XPEL Stealth Paint Protection Film – G Schockl Proved – Full Wrap @winguardadelaide

Upon request of our discerning client, this 2019 G Wagon Magno Night Black (Matte Black) G63 AMG Ed. 1 was delivered directly to WINGUARD to be completely wrapped and protected from scratches and stone-chips. XPEL Stealth Paint Protection Film (PPF) was chosen to install on the paintwork for a matte/frozen/satin finish. This XPEL PPF was preferred for its looks, unparalleled strength, resistance and warranty. It’s important to realize that matte paintwork benefits from being wrapped as corrective blends are not a viable option should the paintwork been scratched or chipped without PPF.

The great thing about XPEL Stealth PPF is that it’s clear, so you not only do you maintain the original colour of your paint, you are actually enhancing the paint work’s depth and finish.

Every inch of this aggressive G63’s paint work is wrapped in XPEL Stealth. Areas that are designed to finish in black gloss were also protected and the original finish was maintained by using XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF (which is a high clarity gloss 10 year warranty PPF).

FERRARI PISTA 2019 IS ON TRACK

S Duct F1 inspired nose and splitter track proofed

“3 – 2 – 1” … that’s how long it takes for the 2019 Ferrari PISTA to accelerate from 1 – 100kmph. It’s the fastest, most aerodynamic 488 made to date, building on the very best of the previous Speciale and GTB models. To put it in perspective, it’s quicker than the McLaren F1. Ferrari engineers have excelled in designing a seamless 3.9 V8 Twin Turbo engine with significantly better braking power and have succeeded in adding a whopping 20% more down-force.

The most comprehensive method to preserve the Rosso Scuderia paintwork is to wrap it expertly in Paint Protection Film (PPF). WINGUARD is continuously testing and evaluating PPF’s to find the best PPF available. PORSCHE 2019 991.2 911 GT3RS

First in Adelaide…this all new PORSCHE 2019 991.2 911 GT3RS has just left the WINGUARD Paint Protection Specialist workshop after a full wrap in the latest XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF (Paint Protection Film). In the true spirit of WINGUARD perfection, all PPF templates were tweaked and optimized on the wrap to ensure this marque roars without a care of stone-chips on the track.

Like it’s cousin the GT2 (700hp @ 7000), this record breaking GT3 RS (520hp) has recently had subtle design modifications like pronounced gills in the front guards and air ducts on the bonnet, optimizing air-flow to both diffusers and brake discs.

Comparatively speaking, the difference between the 2018 GT2 and the new GT3RS is minuscule. GT3RS 0-100km/hr boasts 3 seconds (PDK) compared to 2.7 seconds (PDK) by the GT2. Simply, both cars are truly ready to be tracked, and the handling on the new GT3RS is more responsive than ever before.

GODZILLA – Okinawan Icon GT-R R34 V-Spec Nissan Skyline Custom Wrapped

This recently imported Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec is one of the best surviving examples to date. The owner searched to have the most durable paintwork preservation available for this rarity and sought the WINGUARD crew to custom wrap the full exterior in PPF. This car was designed to win races with a super-car beating performance. The RB26 Twin Turbo power can be considered as Japanese (or more accurately Okinawan) ‘muscle’. The term ‘Godzilla’ was coined in Australia by an Australian journalist in the early 90’s because this monster thrashed all the previous winners of the Australian Touring Car Championship (1990) and the Bathurst Classic (1991 and 1992).

The market for these models has recently opened right up now that the US market has access to these weapons. Popular culture has since made this marque very famous having been featured in movies, TV series and of course the PlayStation “Grand Turismo” inclusion.

Consequently, this recently imported model is one of the fastest appreciating to date. The best part about having this unmolested import wrapped/preserved in PPF, is that it can be truly opened up and heard from afar without fear of paintwork damage. All this peace of mind whilst driving one of the most memorable cars ever designed in Japan.

Most often, default templates address lettering like this by removing the PPF that traces the lines. However, our installers managed to custom-design this panel without ‘relief lettering’ and actually wrapped the inner details of “SKYLINE’ IN ONE PIECE of PPF. Difficulty rating is literally off the charts! Attention to detail level 100 achieved.
