WINGUARD’s latest gloss to satin matte wrap conversion on a brand new high performance 2020 CLA45S.

XPEL Paint Protection Film can provide protection on par with this wicked little Mercedes performance. Sadly for our client, this model was unable to be supplied in a matte finish. Enter the WINGUARD team. We combined XPEL Stealth Paint Protection Film with our in-house customised patterns to give a perfect fit frozen/magno look. Reliability, stability and absolute peace of mind is what all our client’s are asking for, and this is why we only use the best in Paint Protection Film.

Exterior trims were safely removed as well as various other panels to achieve the most seamless conversion possible. All paintwork was also prepared pre-wrappping, to ensure the most seamless application possible.

Other trims were wrapped in gloss for a very punchy contrast, noticeable in the bumpers and rocker sills.

Ratinder Kumar, our head installer, thought if we used clear satin-matte carbon fibre Paint Protection Film on the wing mirrors, it would accentuate the already sleek AMG design..what do you think?

World-first’s were achieved by custom designing the rear-view mirrors in a single piece of XPEL PPF. The Aero-Kit was wrapped in gloss PPF (XPEL Ultimate Plus) for contrast – the result accentuated the visually aggressive geometric styling that is unmistakably ‘Lamborghini’.

This Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 was presented to WINGUARD installers for a full body Satin Matte PPF conversion wrap in XPEL Stealth (original paintwork is gloss). Full body protection in XPEL PPF allows the owner to travel a crazy-fast 0-60kmph in under 2.7 seconds without having to worry about damage to the original paintwork. Considering this super-car has 5.2L V10 – that’s good to know.

It was a remarkably impressive conversion from gloss to matte. This was no small feat as all edges of all templates needed to be extended/customized to hide as much gloss paintwork as possible – however, the finish was worth it. The XPEL Stealth PPF refracts light in such a way that all the panel grooves and designs were enhanced – all geometric angles highlighted.

The Rocker Sill Panels in the Aero Kit were protected in XPEL Ultimate Plus (Gloss) PPF for contrast, and the finish was stellar..

This Holden Equinox cruised in to be wrapped in XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film (PPF) at WINGUARD. Our PPF is the strongest ‘self healing’ urethane plastic wrap available. It is designed for potentially damageable regions of your car – front bumpers, hoods, headlights, wing mirrors, rocker panels, diffusers etc.

Any ‘leading edge’ surface facing directly toward the front/bottom of your car can be protected from scratching and stone chips.

Everyday areas like door handle recess’ and the top of the rear bumpers can also be wrapped and saved from expensive resprays. It’s also pre-cut which ensures no blade damage on your car. Backed by a 10 year warranty for your peace of mind.

One of the most common and annoying scratches that mostly every car will pick up are in the door handles. From the moment you take delivery they accumulate damage caused by keys, fingernails and rings. This can make your car looked aged and neglected. WINGUARD can help you avoid costly repairs by preventing the scratches by using Paint Protection Film designed with a ‘self-healing’ top layer. These are the cheapest pieces available and are accessible to everyone’s budget

The A,B and C Pillars were wrapped as these glossy black panels are instantly prone to abrasion. This is because these panels are much softer than the paintwork. PPF is the only product that will maintain the full integrity of these panels. In 10 years time, they will still look finished and not incur micro-abrasion.

Finally, all door edges were wrapped. This is a common request from client’s who have narrow driveways and/or children who fling doors open in small spaces.
